You Went To School With Grace Coddington???

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!! 2011 is over and my posts were not as high as 2010, i'm going to change that for this New Year. I have been busy with many different ventures in my life and I have returned to my designs and my newest collection. It has been spoken of by different names: acid fantastico, Carmelita Tropicana etc... but indeed it is called RYB and it is currently being worked on. I am on a time crunch and want to release to be shown with other collection for Fall 2012. Here are snippets of images that prove work being done and that soon I will be able to reveal more. Thank you to those still following and hope to bring new life into this blog  which has always been so important to me.

Oh that's Stupid, I can do this...

Hey everyone, sorry for being gone for a little over a month. It's not that I have forgotten about my precious blog, I have just been soo busy with my new collection for Fall 2012. I had stated Previously that I had been working under the name Carmelita Tropicana, but after much debate I have decided that my collection will be named RYB!!! it's simple, cold and straight to the point. I can't wait to upload my preview images sometimes next month that will give you a taste of my new work that I have been stewing for over a year now. Tata for now and next time I write I will most like be 25 lol

Carmelita Tropicana Cometh

So as some of you may know I have started working on my next collection Carmelita Tropicana. Originally it was meant for spring but when I really looked at the drawings and the silhouettes I decided it was best for Fall 2011. The line has a deadline to be out by February 2011 in time for shows and what not. Some people have asked me what inspires me for this collection and in case you don't want to track back through my blog you will see some already posted on my blog. The main inspiration is the Tropical colors of the Red parrot with tight bodied silhouettes with a sense of futurism. Hope everyone is excited to see it, as much as I am in designing it.

LOOK AT ALL THE COLORS!!!

Hello kids so I've mentioned my new collection Carmelita Tropica(working title) and I have some pictures that have inspired me and I hope to do them justice. Even though everything is not finished with Stacy Mirkin, my previous collection. I must start on this one and hopefully show it before spring because it's going to be for spring. Oh yeah and before I forget I am going to be doing one of my pieces as tribute to the late Little Edith Beale in case anyone knows who that is haha. Many things are still in the air but it's something I am excited about. Tata for now

I love my Busy Brain...

So I love when I get knew ideas, I am thinking of making a small numbered colletion inspired by Bronze, Silver, Gold and platinum. It all started with a idea I got of doing a gold encrusted skull cap I wanted to with with my Golda Lamey Jewelry. It's in the beggining stages so many things will change. As for my other things I wanted to design, I have been wanting to do a Norwegian and tropical colors line which years ago had named Acid Fantastico, but because some of the ideas have changed I am thinking of Carmelita Tropica , which will in keep with my tradition of humor and concept in my clothing. Seeing as mcuh that I have pre planned, the stuff I was calling Moonstart will have to be shelved for a while, seeing as I haven't come up with anything besides native american wear made compeporary wuth metallics. I know reading made sound like I have gone on acid, but no it's just the way I design haha. Before I forget I have purchased the domain Name: efgeedesigns.com hope to be able to create my website soon

Oh yeah I've had a crappy day too so all I want to say is DANCE ALL I WANT TO DO IS DANCE...
